Our client is a leading integrated media and information provider, and serves through a range of well-established, market-leading publications, events, interactive media, research, information and integrated marketing services. They are now seeking a high calibre Events Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their expanding team.
In this role, you will be responsible for helping grow the events and conferences footprint in Asia. This will entail managing the key accounts and developing new business, maintaining client relations, participating in events and business conferences, and working closely with Publishers and Event Directors to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in B2B sales
- Thorough understanding of B2B conferences and events
- Familiarity with sales cycles, client management and business development
- Proven track record of successful event sales
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is advantageous
- Understanding of the Asian IT Vendor landscape, and existing contacts within the IT industry is a plus
