A specialist business to business publishing house with offices in the US, Europe, and Asia, is looking for an experienced business development/sales executive to drive revenue across print, online, events, research, and subscriptions in the Asia Pacific region. The role will be based out of Singapore.

Responsibilites

  • Organize meetings with C-suite executives at financial services and corporations across the region to pitch sponsorship ideas
  • Work closely with the conference division in Singapore to execute commercially sucessful and relevant closed door events
  • Cross sell Asia based sponsors commercial ideas targetting our clients in Europe and the US
  • Generate commercial publishing ideas in print & online
  • Network with high net worth individuals at various social engagements across the Asia Pacific

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years media sales experience
  • Experience selling print, online, events, research, and subscriptions
  • Knowledge of private banking industry and ultra high net worth market a distinct advantage
  • A self starter who can work independently
  • An executive with a strong track record in selling sponsorship solutions to financial services clients in Asia
  • Extensive travel required
  • Excellent presentation skills, polished social skills, and the ability to network with ultra high net worth individuals
  • A track record selling publishing & event ideas to financial services clients essential
  • Good spoken & written English essential/Asian languages a bonus
